I have come to the end of my major project upon the completion of the chapter framework for the last section ‘Start Making Money’.
I feel like I have come such a long way since first working on this book and that became evident in the final edit where I went through the entire document from start to finish, polishing and perfecting. What I saw was a continuous progression in the quality of work as I went on.
Not only did this give me an opportunity to improve the quality of those earlier chapters but also highlighted the progress I have made and my new standard of work that I am so proud of.
At the Beginning
It seemed like such an overwhelming task when I first sat down to write a 15, 000 major project. Not only because of the depth of research I wanted to achieve, but also because of the large scale of the book and how I would condense the concept / all my thoughts and ideas into the one framework.
The process that helped me most to stay on track throughout writing the framework was my schedule / micro goals that I set up at the beginning of the semester. Having a due date next to each step of the process kept me on target to finishing and even encouraged me to try get ahead of my set deadlines, which I did. Splitting this huge project into bite size chunks allowed me to keep a level head and not be overwhelmed with the scope of work. Also setting aside certain weeks to concentrate on specific portions of the book allowed a higher level of focus for each topic, something noticeable in the final product.
I am extremely proud of what I have achieved in the past 6 months and I can not wait to continue the progress of my book to have it published and gain my PHD.
I must admit that I have had a lot of fun working on this major project and am so glad that I chose to take the leap and choose my book framework as my major project.
